White pepper is a spice, planted from the pepper plant, which is ivory white or gray in color. The outer skin of white pepper is less wrinkled to black pepper. 

 There are 3 types of white pepper:

Although white pepper and black pepper come from the same plant, they are processed in distinctive ways:

Black pepper is produced by unripe berries of plants, cooked in hot water and dry in the sun.  After being dried, the outer skin is wrinkled, which makes the final result of black pepper.

White pepper is processed when the skin is removed, leaving only the seed inside. The seeds are dried afterward to make white pepper.
